ZBrush is better on Windows too, seems more performant and smooth out of the box. CrazyBump has long been Windows only, I think it has a beta now for Mac. Other secondary tools that I could never use that were Windows only I can now use. The current MBP's use Radeon GPU's, that locks you out of specific renderers that take advantage of the NVidia GPU's. Rendering is intense on my MBP and it would constantly freeze up during renders. Updating Maya on Windows updates the application in place, on Mac it adds a new copy of the entire application and you have to manually remove the old version. On my Mac I could only run Maya 2017, if I tried 2018 I could add a cube and it would crash. I have fewer crashes, a specific example is Maya 2018. Maya seems to work much better on Windows. Recently I gave up after the frustration got to be too much and bought an MSI GS65 Stealth Thin and haven't even turned my MBP back on to do 3D work. I've owned MBP's exclusively for the last 10 years and have been doing 3D work on them for the last 5 years.
